A feeling of Loneliness

The whole world deserted me
Alone on an island
Just me and a lonesome tree
Lost in the mist of the island
The tree to offer its shade to me
Seemed distinctively violent
The wind not offering its optimum
And the clouds pouring up
Only calm I could find was in my hum
I stood wet alone on that island
Since the whole world deserted me
Alone on that island.

Poem : Population of India

Population of my country
Is really too much
You can’t really count
All of ‘em, as such.

I have really heard that
1.02 billion Of em are there in the country
200 million are spoilt and fat
Others live in poverty.

700 million are fully educated
Some of them dropouts
A few of them take to fishing
Catchin’ fish and trout.

Political parties always say
We’ll do this, we’ll do that
But during the night and the day
They only slouch on their chairs.

You can already see
The future of our nation
The aged had it foreseen
It is a matter of tension.

Poem : The Beautiful Child

A beautiful small child
Has just been born
In Dubai hospital, in the
Wee hours of the morn.

It is going to be dawn
The little baby
Opens his eyes, after a thorn
Is poked in his small behind.

The eyes are full of tears
Flowing down like a river
His parents are flowing with fears
Of the world outside.

It’s a beautiful sight,
The cry of a baby.
Its all God’s might
That produces this beauty.

The Choice is ours to make

As I went outta my home
Right out into the glass dome
Protecting us from all the smoke
Covering the Earth like a cloak.

I remember those days
Even though I am in a daze
When I went through the door
To play out at four
To breathe in the fresh air
To feed my hare
To be with God’s feature
That is our blessing – Nature.

But now we are hiding from our own individual dooms
As in front of us, our future looms
Ozone depletion, global warming
All this is human’s doing

We are near our end
But I want to send
A plea to God
To forgive us for what we have done
To give us back what we had
Let everything be undone.

We promise we’ll never do it again
Please join hands with me
You’ll never have to look in disdain
We’ll make the world how it used to be
We will make my promises a reality.

Rain -

Hope its good.
