Gadget Review: Nokia N73

Beautiful, sleek and featureful at the same time!

The quality of camera phones has hit a new high, with the N73. I know there is a 5 megapixel phone in the form of the N95, and I know that the N73 is old. Anyways, it's still a fine addition to the Nokia N series.

It is available in normal and music editions, which are silver and black respectively.
I will be reviewing the Music edition of N73.
First off, the exterior.

It's a nice smartphone design, hefty but comfortable to hold.
It's got a Carl Zeiss camera lens, a beautiful, clear and vibrant screen and camera controls on the side.
The bad thing I noticed in the exterior was the cramped keypad.
Some people have big fingers, so it will be hard for them to dial numbers or text messages. There is a micro SD at the bottom of the phone, and you will need some big nails to open that!

Next is it's features.

It's not a featureless phone. It runs on Symbian 60 series software, has an amazing Music player and a camera which takes high quality pictures. It's 3G and has all the usual features an N series phone would have. It also has excellent voice recognition.
Now, the thing missing in this phone is Wi-Fi. It's disappointing the N73 doesn't have Wi-Fi, as all new smartphones have it.

It is a very sluggish performer when it comes to switching between apps or performing multimedia functions. The N73 has a good battery life and a decent call quality.

Pros --> 3.2 megapixel camera, music player, vibrant screen, amazing battery life, decent call quality.

Cons --> Cramped Keyboard, no Wi-Fi, sluggish performance when switching between apps or performing multimedia functions, inconvenient spot for Micro SD Card.

All in All, a very good phone with an excellent set of features.

TOTALLY recommended by me.
