Poem : Population of India

Population of my country
Is really too much
You can’t really count
All of ‘em, as such.


I have really heard that
1.02 billion Of em are there in the country
200 million are spoilt and fat
Others live in poverty.


700 million are fully educated
Some of them dropouts
A few of them take to fishing
Catchin’ fish and trout.


Political parties always say
We’ll do this, we’ll do that
But during the night and the day
They only slouch on their chairs.


You can already see
The future of our nation
The aged had it foreseen
It is a matter of tension.
