Movie Review: The Epic Movie( 15+)

The writers of the first Scary movie make the best parody movie of 2007. The Epic Movie is mainly the spoofs of the highest box office grossing films of 2005 and 2006: The Chronicles of Narnia, The Harry Potter Series, Pirates of the Carribean 2, XMEN 3, Nacho Libre, Snakes on a plane,Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and so on.

The story starts off with 4 orphans going to Willy Wonka's Chocolate factory. He kidnaps them and keeps them in the factory. One orphan finds a wardrobe and enters it to reach Gnarnia( G is silent).

The White Bitch wants to rule Gnarnia by destroying it using the Superman Returns plot. The story goes on as these 4 orphans have to beat the White Bitch and rule the kingdom.

The story has some real stupid and crazy scenes. They poke fun at the Pussycat Dolls, and they really have a good time making fun of Apple, Myspace, etc.

Kal Penn, Adam Campbell, Jayma Mays, and Faune A. Chambers do a good job as the four orphans.


Story: Poor, Direction: Good, Acting: Average, Cinematography:Excellent

From a critics point of view, I'll give this film 4/10.
But you are watching this film for fun, I'll give it an 8/10.

Rating: 15+ (2 nudity scenes)

I really enjoyed the film.
